Periods are completely healthy & normal.
It’s a sign that your body is working the way it should. There’s nothing to be ashamed of.

A menstrual cycle lasts about 28 days on average.
But don’t worry, anything between 23 and 32 days is normal. Every body is different!

Your period usually lasts between 3 and 7 days.
The flow and duration can change from month to month, especially in the first 2 years it can be very irregular, that’s completely normal.

On average, it’s only about 30–80 milliliters – roughly 2 to 4 tablespoons.

Mild cramps are okay, but if the pain is severe or disrupts your daily life, talk to your mum / dad / teacher and / or doctor.

Eating well, drinking enough water, and doing exercise can really ease symptoms.

When you’re stressed or not sleeping enough, your cycle might become irregular. Try to take care of yourself and listen to your body.

There are many different period products.
Whether it’s tampons, pads, cups, or period underwear – try different ones to see what feels best for you.

Periods are not a taboo topic.
Talk openly about them – with close friends, family, or at school. A fellow student has leaked ? Don't make fun of them but offer to help, with a pad, a change of clothing or a jumper to wrap around their waist. Stand up for period dignity not period shame. 💪

Your body is doing amazing things during this time. Be proud of yourself and treat yourself with kindness. ❤️
